Description
A strong and energizing essential oil, a general tonic, traditionally used in appetizing or aphrodisiac applications, in hair care to fight hair loss and as a nervous system stimulator.

It's not an essential oil I use for its scent, which I find a bit heavy and earthy. But it works wonders in a pain relief ointment, along with other essential oils with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.

The smell of this oil has nothing in common with ginger. It is unbearable. I cannot use it in aromatherapy, even combined with other essential oils. However, I use it as an ingredient in various cosmetic products.

It smells like herbal flavored root, a unique smell I would say because I can't compare it to any other essential oil. It imparts a rich earthiness with delicious aroma. I will definitely order it again.
