I prepared the oil. It may be a sunscreen, but if you have white skin be careful with it, because it made my skin yellow, hard to get off, it grabs everything, it didn't even come out of the towel. It's practically like putting on a self-tanner.

I made this oil, though with caprilis oil. Hahahahah.......I don't know. I haven't tried it in the sun but it turned out much darker than the picture almost blood coloured, interesting though that it's actually yellowish as you wash the pots. My skin also turned a slightly yellowish colour, which eased up a bit after smearing and absorbed. I haven't tried it in the sun yet, that's yet to come. But I can't imagine if this oil just touches my bathing suit, what will happen or how will I wash the towels afterwards......it's still a big question mark for me. Also, after sunbathing you will have to shower, because you don't want to go home in a yellow dress. So I'm feeling a bit shot with these natural sunscreens, one makes me white one makes me brown, now it's yellow it seems.

Hello! We do not recommend because the zinc oxide will settle at the bottom of the container, the product will not be homogeneous.

Hello! Basically, yes, it can be substituted, but keep in mind that olive oil is greasier and has a quite pronounced specific odor. You can also use other vegetable oils such as apricot, macadamia, caprilis, rice, grape, almond, etc.

Hello, Luminita. There is no problem in the preparation of the oil, and the maceration period can also be several weeks, without negatively affecting the quality of the product.

Good day. If I macerated sesame oil and urucum powder for more than 5 days, is there any problem in preparing the oil! What would be the maximum time it could macerate in optimal conditions!

Dear Bora, thanks to its annatto content, the oil helps to tan the skin exposed to the sun more beautifully and faster. The oil itself is not tanning. Have a nice day!

Have a nice day! I would like to ask what activates the tanning bed? I mean the tanning oil itself? Thank you in advance for your reply.
