Hello Andra, Lately our recipes have been checked, adjusted and modernized by the qualified staff of Elemental. As the final pH depends both on the batch of ingredients and the pH of the water used, the amount of lactic acid needed to reach the pH indicated in the recipe cannot be accurately estimated. We recommend gradually adding this ingredient according to the pH value obtained. Good luck!

Hello! Since 2014 I have been preparing recipes on elemental, but there has never been one in which a product was left without a dosage. Considering the rest of the ingredients in the recipe, what could cause the acid to be missing a dosage? The question is pertinent, especially since this product also has exfoliating properties, which at a higher dosage can have undesirable effects. As for measuring the pH, a.i. to reach the desired value, it is very time-consuming and, once again, quite delicate. How do you know what lactic acid grammage you start from, for example? Then, at least in my experience, the PH measuring tapes were not completely unreadable. Thanks

Hello! Sure, you can add, we recommend xanthan gum, possibly try it on a smaller test amount. Keep in mind that in the foamer type container it is not indicated to use more viscous solutions.

Hello. The ingredients that might cause discomfort on the skin - admittedly, rarely - are essential oil and preservative; and the wrong dosage of too much lactic acid can be the problem. Thanks for your appreciation and trust,
