Cleansing milk for dry skin
Formula: 12705 Difficulty level: medium Shelf life: min 3 months pH optimal: 5.5-6.0

Phase Ingredients Dosage % Total 100 gr
A Hemp seed oil 25 25 gr
A Emulsifier Alfa 10 10 gr
B Linden water 30 30 gr
B Pure / distilled water 30,8 30,8 gr
B Xanthan gum 0,3 0,3 gr
C Decyl Surfactant 3 3 gr
C Aromatic Melon extract 0,3 0,3 gr
C Cosgard 0,6 0,6 gr

1. In a glass add the liquid ingredients of phase B, sprinkle the xanthan gum over them gradually and stir vigorously until completely dispersed. Set aside for gel formation, during which time prepare phase A.

2. In a bowl add the Alfa emulsifier and mix for about 20 seconds then add the oils a little at a time, similar to making a mayonnaise. The composition should gradually harden into a viscous gel.

3. Add the contents of phase B little by little over phase A, mixing well.

4. Add the ingredients of phase C in turn, stirring thoroughly after each.

5. Measure the pH value and adjust if necessary.

6. Transfer the composition to the dedicated container. The consistency will be final on the next day.

A gentle, emollient cleansing milk suitable for dry and very dry, sensitive skin

Hello Edith, You can replace the oil in the recipe with others, for example: avocado, marigold, macadamia, grapeseed, grape, rosa mosqueta, argan. We recommend choosing an oil that is suitable for your skin.

You can use essential oil in place of the aromatic extract, in which case it is not recommended to use makeup remover on the eyelids and the area near the eye.

Cosgard can be used. If you remove the xanthan gum, adjust the water percentage accordingly.

What about Cosgard? If I remove the xanthan gum I know it will have a fluid consistency.. but do I need to increase the percentage of water?

Hello. It is quite easy to make a cleanser from a cream recipe. We suggest experimenting with emulsions made with Olliva, it tolerates the addition of surfactant ingredients quite well. Good luck!

Hello! I would like a cleanser with a creamier consistency, the ones in your recipe are more watery. Could you direct me if I could turn a lighter cream into a cleanser? (Possibly adding more water and a cleanser...? ) Thanks!

Hi Andrea. If you omit the tenside, which you can practically do, then the result is a simple emulsion, but one that can still be used for cleansing. Instead of the Alpha emulsifier we can't work with any other emulsifier in this formula unless we rethink the phases, percentages and how to prepare it.
