Hello Andreea, As a suitable substitute we cannot recommend, and Acerola powder is no longer part of our product range, follow the reformulated recipe quantities.

Hello Cristina, Acerola powder, in addition to its basic properties, contributes to the optimal pH of the shampoo we don't have a substitute for this ingredient. You can possibly remove this ingredient from the formula, adjusting the pH of the shampoo in the end.

Hello Mariana, A product similar to condisoft emulsifier cannot be recommended. This emulsifier is a key ingredient in this recipe.

I seem to have tweaked the formula a bit from Rosemary & Bergamot Balancing Shampoo, which contains Tenside Lauryl 30% and Tenside Hydralay 3%. What would be the percentage of tenside lauryl to stop making the hair like a broom?

Thank you very much for your reply. I seem to have messed up the bottles :( From this recipe I am missing only condisoft and acerola. What could I replace the condisoft emulsifier with?

Hello Mariana, The sweeping effect of your hair after washing with the modified formula is due to the following causes: - as a result of the modifications, the two key ingredients for conditioning the hair have been removed from the recipe, namely the emulsifier condisoft and tenside gentle base - the dosage of moisturizing tenside has been modified to the detriment of moisturizing, conditioning the hair - tenside lauryl has been introduced with a high scalp cleansing power, but at the same time with a drying effect on the hair - the presence of lactic acid is closely linked to the emulsifier condisoft, which no longer appears in your recipe - vegetable keratin and panthenol are substances that deposit on the hair, but in the absence of conditioning ingredients, they turn the hair into a sweeping effect - the last cause may be the incorrect pH following the recipe change For positive results, we recommend using the original recipe and possibly a conditioning conditioner.

Hello, I prepared this recipe with slight modifications. I eliminated the emulsifier condisoft and acerola powder. tenside decyl 20% tenside lauryl 30% tenside lauryl 3% tenside moisturizing 3% water 39% AHA acid 3% caffeine 3% caffeine 1% keratin 3% lactic acid, cosgard After washing the hair was like a broom, could not comb. What was wrong with the formulation? Can you recommend another milder recipe for thinning hair? Thanks!

Hello Valentina! You can include the following in your shampoo base: vegetable collagen, silk protein, buttermilk powder and acerola powder. We suggest that you mix the two powders into a small part of the shampoo. Follow the indicative dosages on the ingredient sheet for each ingredient, and do not exceed 5% additions in total. Good luck!

I come back with impressions related to shampoo and dandruff (plus an itchy scalp that was giving me headaches). After a week and a half, during which I washed 3 times, the dandruff and itching disappeared. Getting ready to make it again. Congratulations on the recipe!
