The skin does not remain greasy thanks to the emulsifier which makes it easier to wash the cream off the skin.

Hello! We do not have a substitute with similar properties for fucus powder.

Hello Svetlana, Unfortunately we cannot recommend substitution. The Alpha emulsifier in this recipe helps to wash the cream off the skin when it comes in contact with water. Without the Alpha or made with Olive Emulsifying Wax (practically doable), the cream will be greasy and difficult to rinse off the skin.

Hello! Thank you for your answer, I realized later when I opened a green tea extract that it is watery and not oily :) Have a nice day!

Hello, You cannot realize the proposed substitution, the two extracts: green tea and ivy are water-soluble ingredients, they can be incorporated into compositions that also contain water.

Orsolya, Hello, The recipe is fine and the proportions as well. Since the preparation does not contain water, no preservative is needed. It can keep for at least 3 months. Have a nice day!

Hello, I tried to prepare a simple exfoliating body balm. 78% olive oil, 10% beeswax, 10% ground coffee, essential oils. What do you think? How long can it be kept and does it need to be preserved? Thank you.

claudiar, The hibiscus flower scrub is very mild and gentle; it is not suitable for the body. Instead of strawberry seeds you can use ground almond and olive kernels or other seeds you have on hand, even brown sugar.

claudiar, Hello, Grapefruit essential oil is the most important here, the others can be replaced with other essential oils; cardamom I introduced it in the formula especially to attenuate the odor given by the fucus. To the best of our knowledge the composition contains no ingredients contraindicated in varicose veins. Have a nice day!

And one more question if I may. Can strawberry seed scrub be replaced with hibiscus flower scrub or is the latter not strong enough for a body scrub? Thank you very much.

Good evening. Please tell me if pepper and cardamom are essential in this preparation and if they can be replaced with other ue. Also, if possible, please tell me if any of the components of this preparation would be contraindicated for people with varicose veins. I wish you a pleasant evening and a beautiful morning.

Hello, I'd like to know if I can substitute some ingredients: 1. can I not put the fucus powder? if yes, what do I increase the grammage? 2. Can I replace the grapefruit and cardamon with cinnamon and virginia cedar or ylang ylang? If yes in what quantity? I don't have the above ingredients at the moment and that's why I want to replace them. Thank you, Andreea

Cristina, If you have correctly calculated the quantities of the ingredients and followed the indicated procedure, you shouldn't have come out with a liquid composition. You can use it, even if it is softened.

I found the following recipe in a magazine: 50 g cocoa butter, 25 g shea butter, 25 g mango butter, 5 drops patchouli essential oil and 5 drops orange essential oil. Can I combine these ingredients? If so, how do I do it? Do I melt the butters on the bath, cool and then add the oils? Thank you in advance.

andreea, Caffeine is water-soluble, so it can only be incorporated into compositions that also contain water.
