Hello Ancuța, The closest oil in terms of consistency would be Babassu oil or organic coconut oil. Good luck!

Hello, if I no longer have monoi oil in stock, what other oil can I replace it with?

Hello Cristina, Since some of the alcohol fragrances, when applied, end up on clothes or in the air instead of on the skin, the formulation of alcohol fragrances differs from the formulation of solid fragrances applied directly on the skin. In principle, it is possible to replace wax with alcohol, but for the fragrance to last, a higher proportion of perfumes, essential oils is recommended in the formulation. Have a sunny day!

Hello. Can we transform a solid perfume? In the sense of replacing wax with alcohol?

Hello. Can anyone help me with some advice on jasmine absolute? I bought 2 ml myself, it smells insane, and I want to scent a cold process soap. I add it at the end in the trace, but my question is how should I proceed, what to dilute it in and how to proceed? Thanks

Hello! It can be substituted, but being a more compact butter use only about 50 gr and add the rest of the monoi oil.

I did this. I replaced the jasmine absolute with 2ml of lilac extract (I'll put a little less next time). My girls are delighted. If initially a bit oily, after 7-8 minutes it goes into the skin and the sensation is very pleasant.

Hello! Yes, it can be substituted. Murumuru butter being a firmer one, use a slightly lower dosage (by 7-10 gr) and increase the monoi oil or vegetable silicone appropriately.

Claudiar, Marigold flowers or other medicinal plants can be macerated in vegetable butters and oils (use those that are resistant to oxidation). Usually, such macerates are prepared cold, in which case you need approx. 2 weeks for as much of the plant's substances to be absorbed by the oil/juice. This can also be done by heating the oil/juice together with the plant for approx. 30 minutes and the temperature should be kept under control in a range of 40 to 70°C. During hot maceration, stir frequently. Finally strain.

Can you tell me, please, if in the butter used here or in the shea butter can you boil fresh marigold flowers? I thought I would then leave them for 12 hours, heat the butter, strain it and use it in the recipes on the website. Do you think this is possible? Thanks.

Hello, In addition to its antioxidant role, vitamin E has multiple benefits for the skin. You can possibly use antioxidant rosemary extract, same amount.

Hello If I don't have vit E can I replace it with something else? I think that its role is antioxidant since there is no preservative in the recipe Thanks

Hello, Mango butter has a specific, raw, vegetal odor. Certainly the product you received is not a rancid or expired one, that's its smell. Within these formulas, you can use various fragrances or essential oils, even a combination of essential oils, which will bring their specific scent to the composition.

Hello, I prepared this cream and unfortunately it has a strange smell, because the mango butter from the beginning had a rancid smell... I don't know why, although the expiration date is not close. You can also smell the fragrance, but that rancid smell that the mango butter separately had is at the base and not pleasant at all. Este adevarat ca am schimbat uleiul de borago cu cel de babassu, dar din cate am inteles nu afecteaza, ba din contra este un alegere buna. Next I changed the quantity of mango butter, so I reduced it, sharing it with coconut oil (40ml mango butter and 30 ml coconut oil). Can you reassure me about the mango butter, this must be how it must smell? Thanks in advance. Have a nice day, Renata

daniela vasi, Hi! I prepared this body butter recently and its texture is not fluid. Before making it I had kept the mango butter and other ingredients on the floor in a box ( 22-24 degrees in the house) and both the butter and oil were more solid than I would have liked at the time of preparation. :))
