Thank you very much! Now the PH is 6. If I want to decrease it to 5-5.5, how much lactic acid should I add?

Hello! We are glad that it turned out well and you are happy with the gel. It can also be used for intimate hygiene, externally, but in this case the pH would be optimal to be around 5-5.5. You can add a maximum of 10% more foaming surfactant, but it won't make a very rich lather; possibly 5% coconut surfactant if you have it handy. Have a sunny day!

Hello. I made this recipe in which I put lavender water, plain water and a little aloe gel, keeping the total percentage of waters. I also added panthenol and xanthan gum (as you indicated) to have a gel texture. And Fragard as a preservative. It turned out really well! My question is: can it be used by children as well as women for intimate hygiene? To make more lather, can you add foaming tenside? If yes, in what percentage? Thank you very much!

Hello! No problem, it can be cloudy longer or even permanently when including oily/liposoluble ingredients like bisabolol.

Hello. I added 1 gr bisabolol and subtracted 1 gr water. After two days it still hasn't cleared up and has a cloudy appearance. Could it be because of the bisabolol, although I don't think so?

Yes, it can be used as a liquid soap for children, it is also gentle enough for skin affected by dermatitis.

Can this gel be used as liquid baby soap? We also have children suffering from atopic dermatitis. Thank you.

Hello, Geanina. If the moisturizing tenside is not out of date according to the label, it shouldn't present any problems given that it has been stored properly but also that it is not prone to microbial growth. Perhaps another ingredient is the problem especially since the gel shows signs of separation, but we also remain questionable about the reported problem.

Hello. I've made this recipe several times and really liked how it behaved on baby's skin, but last time the gel didn't clear up. Could it be from the moisturizing tenside that I unwrapped about 4 months ago? And the product seems to be separating. I kept the tenside in the dark and place under 22 degrees, maybe it was a little humidity. Thanks

I am interested in it being moisturizing. The ingredients I have them all. I would put panthenol, bisabolol and apricot extract.

Hello Daniela. You can add guar gum about 0,5-1%, it should be mixed first with the waters, and the gel formed will be gradually added over the separately prepared washing base+moisturizing surfactant mixture. The viscosity of the product will be higher but the appearance will be opaque and slightly cloudy. You may prepare a smaller test quantity first.

Hello. I need to prepare the product for a newborn. I only have doubts about the consistency ( described in some reviews as watery). I'd prefer to give the preparation some consistency ( to avoid it from the mother's palm from the bottle to the baby's body) Would it be OK to add a guar gum?
