FORMULATION GUIDE
- How to prepare an oily macerate
- use 100 ml vegetable oil of your choice and mix it with 10 gr powder
- shake well in order to disperse the powder in the liquid and leave it to macerate up to 7 days, shaking occasionally
- filter it using a coffee filter or a dense sieve, transfer the filtrate into a clean bottle
- use the macerated oil in your project or store it in a cool place; it is stable for several months
- How to prepare an infusion
- add 100 ml boiling water to 10 gr powder and mix
- leave it to infuse up to 15 minutes
- filter it with a suitable tool or filtering paper, allow to cool and transfer the collected filtrate into a clean bottle
- incorporate it at once into your formulation or add a preservative (1% Cosgard) to keep it longer for future projects

Ashwagandha powder - I bought this to use in my skin masks. I wouldn't know if it's just because of it that my complexion looks great after use (or because of the mix of ingredients).I love it and will buy more.

I have used it so far in facial masks. The complexion is instantly revitalized and toned. Next, I am going to prepare an oily macerate that I will use in the preparation of creams. The results will certainly not be long in coming

I use it to make oily macerates for hair, scalp and skin applications or included as such in hair or face masks, combined with oils and butters, manjishta and bhringharaj. For hair I also use neutral henna. After a couple of covid episodes and a period of prolonged emotional stress/consumption, my hair had fallen extremely hard, thinning, very limp and lifeless. Combined with a proper lifestyle and diet, internal supplements and lots of detangling/relaxing, the hair thickens, becomes stronger, regenerates well and looks much healthier. I apply in between washes and floral or herbal waters (purchased or distilled by me) useful for hair/scalp and have found it's good to combine with baking soda, I probably had too acidic an environment on my scalp. On the skin I apply oily macerates either plain or in combinations, on damp skin after showering (usually done with a small gomage of malai flour or coffee zat left over from the morning added in the palm of my hand over the shower gel I'm currently using, or over some soap if I use soap). This way I don't have to worry too much during periods of sun exposure either, my skin is always prepared, I just need to add a little extra protection (oily macerate with urucum powder, ashwagandha, manjishta) before and after exposure.

I didn't know much about ayurvedic herbs before ordering from here. I was very surprised to discover so much good stuff, especially since I started reading about proper nutrition and food. I bought this powder for the white clay and neroli water mask I made for my normal, slightly dry complexion, with very good results. I am not at all as good at creating recipes as my friend who told me about this site is. That's why the recipe area here is much needed for someone like me, thank you!

I made a mask with it. The skin looks very beautiful after. I haven't tried it in the bathtub yet. I don't know where I read that it can be used that way. I think we don't care for our bodies as we should, with natural products. That would be a start.

This powder can be taken internally, but I would not. For me, the scent of perfume and it's better to make skin care products. I liked the sugar scrub from this site. I experimented a lot with different types of sugar.

I recommend Ashwagandha powder, I used it to prepare an exfoliating scrub, it leaves a very nice color and a pleasant smell.

I recently discovered the many properties of this plant. I have used it so far in skin and hair masks, which I am very satisfied with; in addition the plant has an important adaptogenic effect, helping the body to cope with stress (oxidative, psychological).
