Organic Bhringaraj Powder - Known in Ayurveda as the "King of Hair Herbs", for hair and scalp care formulations.
Bhringaraj Powder is primarily used in formulations designed to maintain a healthy appearance for the hair and scalp, but it is also suitable for skincare products. The plant contains a rich blend of bioactive constituents, including coumestans, triterpenoid saponins, flavonoids, and alkaloids.
The powder is obtained from organically farmed Eclipta prostrata (also known as Eclipta alba), one of the central plants in traditional Ayurvedic cosmetics, used for centuries in hair care formulations.

Formulation Guide
- Preparing an oil macerate: Use 100 ml of vegetable oil of choice and 10 g of powder. Shake well and leave to macerate for up to 7 days, shaking occasionally. Filter using a coffee filter paper or a dense sieve, then transfer the filtrate to a clean bottle. The macerated oil remains stable for several months in a cool place.
- Preparing an infusion: Add 100 ml of boiling water to 10 g of powder, stir, and leave to infuse for up to 15 minutes. Filter, allow to cool, and transfer the filtrate to a clean bottle. Incorporate into the formula immediately or preserve with 1% Cosgard for future use.
- Combines well with Amla and other Ayurvedic powders, both in hair masks and in dry or solid shampoos.
