FORMULATING TIPS

1% solution has a viscosity of 3,400 – 5,000 mPas
needs a hydration time for thickening after addition to water; this time depends strongly on water temperature and pH, cold and acidic water will provide the longest delay
it is suitable of over broad pH range
this is an R-grade hydroxyethylcellulose, designed to be added to water without lumping
it is recommended to add to room temperature water with a neutral pH, and once hydrated, the solution can be heated and the pH can be adjusted as needed
typical use rate: 0.1 - 3%
