Question: Would it be possible to add some cationic in this? Polyquaterniums or Honey Quat, or would it interfere with the gum arabic? If so, at what step would it be introduced (or maybe it doesn't matter)?
As for adding a cationic, we actually tried using Guar Quat in the first version, but it didn’t behave well in the solution and settled at the bottom. Honeyquat, however, could work well, though it would need to be tested on a small sample of the product. You could add it after the collagen.
