Good evening! Which substitute would be suitable for lavender essential oil? I get sick from its odor in general and I would like to know what I can replace it with, taking into account its properties. Thanks!

Hello! Yes, you can also make an aromatherapeutic cream from the cream base by adding the ingredients from this recipe minus the murumuru butter. Be careful with the chamomile extract, mix it beforehand in a small portion of the cream base to obtain a homogeneous preparation.

Hello! In this case we recommend a relatively simple mixture: caprilis oil 97.5%, lavender essential oil 2% and wintergreen essential oil 1.5%.

This headache conditioner can also be made in an oily version so you can put it in a 10ml roll-on. Does one simply replace the murumuru butter with a vegetable oil, or how should one proceed? Thank you.

Hello, Lidia. Magnesium oil is not really an oil, it is a water-based solution and therefore cannot be integrated into such a conditioner. You can, however, spray the magnesium oil on your skin and then apply a small amount of the balm, and massage the area.

Hello, I made a similar balm for headaches, but with other ingredients. I like this one better, but would like to incorporate magnesium oil. Could you tell me in what quantity? Thank you!

Hello Melinda. Basically you can also prepare the recipe with coconut oil instead of murumuru butter, in this case we recommend storing it in the fridge or in a cool place, otherwise it may liquefy and will have the texture of an oil and not a balm. Peppermint oil is an important ingredient in this recipe, you can use wintergreen essential oil instead or possibly increase the amount of lavender oil.

Hello, can I use coconut oil instead of murumuru (is the quantity the same?) and not use mint oil at all? Thank you, Melinda

Victoria Maria, you can make the suggested substitutions. You can eliminate the peppermint essential oil in this case, and so use 1.4% (7 drops) of wintergreen.

I can replace basil oil with wintergreen oil, and shea butter with mango. I've tried shea and the texture doesn't really come out like yours.

You can also prepare the balm without chamomile extract, instead we may recommend wintergreen essential oil in a slightly larger quantity.

Hi Adina, Some recipes, especially the older ones, we review and possibly reformulate. You can also use ravintsara essential oil in this balm, in place of basil oil, in a slightly larger amount of 5-7 drops.

Good evening, why was the old ravintsara recipe removed?

Hello, We do not recommend the proposed substitution, you can possibly include chili extract in the formula, according to the dosage listed in the product insert, adjusting the amount of marigold oil accordingly.

Good evening! I made this ointment but after resting for 24 hours it didn't solidify, being still very very soft. I respected the grams with a very precise scale, but I didn't keep it in the fridge (it wasn't mentioned in the recipe). Should the resulting aifia be soft or more consistent? What can I do now? Thanks!
