Hi Alexandra, Guar quat can be added to both aqueous and C phase, depending on the formula. If the recipe you are formulating is an emulsifying based recipe, the temperatures of the two phases, A and B, must be identical. In all other cases, we recommend that you follow our recipe guidelines. Good luck!

Good evening! I would like to add guar quat in a hair conditioner recipe . I understand that it is added in the water phase but I don't know exactly at what point and what temperature the water should be. I could use an example of a recipe.I hope not to bother with this comment Thanks!
