Hello! Plant collagen is water soluble, you can only include it in aqueous media or emulsions, not in this recipe.

Good evening I would like to add vegetable collagen to this recipe. Would it be possible? In what quantity and phase? Thanks

Hello Mariana! We're glad you like the recipe. Urea cannot be included as it is an ingredient only suitable for compositions that also contain water.

Hello! I prepared this recipe and I like it a lot. I wanted to ask if you can add urea and in what percentage. Will the validity change in this case? Thanks!

Dear Eva, in this case we recommend mixing with a spatula or a kneading head to reduce the amount of air in the mixture. Otherwise it will foam and fall apart when warm. Have a nice day!

Hi, I have modified the Body Butter Mango and Babassu recipe using the following ingredients Mango butter, Sweet almond oil, Vegetable glycerin, Babassu oil, Rosemary co2 , Mandeline, White clay The method of preparation was what you describe in the recipe. Unfortunately, during laboratory shelf life testing, it foamed at 36 degrees. I would like to ask if it is possible to prepare body butter without whisking, but just mixing the ingredients with a spatula or a kneading head, so that it does not foam, because I have the assumption that the cream falls apart at high temperatures because, like the whipped cream, it is also whisked, i.e. it foams and cannot withstand the heat. Thank you very much, Eva

You can basically substitute, but the resulting butter will be softer.

Thanks! I mixed it and it recovered :) Could I also replace the babassu oil with calendula oil? :)

Regardless of the type of babassu oil, the recipe remains the same.

Was the deodorized babassu oil (I didn't have organic babassu oil) supposed to melt it in a water bath with the mango butter? I'm thinking that's why it didn't come out right. Thanks! :)

Hello. If you store the product at room temperature, the butter should be quite soft. Try mixing it now, by hand not with a mixer, to aerate the texture a bit.

Hello, I prepared this body butter, but after a few days the composition has hardened. Could you help me with some advice, should I have blended it with the mixer more? Thanks!

Hello. I would like to prepare this body butter using pure cocoa butter. Having different consistency from mango butter, how can you suggest me to make the substitution?

Hello Ana. Mango butter has a specific odor that somewhat resembles a rancid odor, but without being pungent. If your butter has changed its odor and has become rancid, we recommend not using it.

Vinnny, in our range, the closest in texture and hardness to mango butter is purified shea butter. Instead of babassu we have recommended oils with a similar texture, but you can also use another vegetable oil of your choice, the resulting body butter will be somewhat softer.

Compared to mango butter, what other type of butter can be used? be more specific And as oils, only babassu, monoi and coconut is used? Or do we have other options? Like centellla asiatica, hemp, castor, castor, olive oils. I look forward to your reply. Thank you
