Hi Adriana, The pineapple extract can be removed from the recipe or you can replace it with other similar extracts.

Can I not add pineapple extract? Or can I replace it with something else?

Hello Cristina, Since carnauba wax is a more consistent wax than beeswax, you can make the substitution without major changes. We recommend one gram of carnauba wax for 15 g of product in total, i.e. for 2 tubes of conditioner. Good luck!

Hello! If I were to replace beeswax with carnauba wax for a superior sensorial profile, in what quantity should I add it to produce a butter suitable for lip balm tubes?

Hello! You can take the ceramides out of the recipe but also decrease the dosage of the beeswax to about half, to get a soft enough consistency.

hello :) I have a container ...like lip gloss?! squeeze bottle with a squeeze cap, I hope I'm expressing myself correctly :) and one like liquid lipstick - with a brush. If I remove the ceramides (I don't have them anyway :p ) from the recipe and use more oil instead of butter, do I get a fluid enough consistency for these types of bottles? I'm trying to make something that I can take with me when I leave home and I've already made lano lip balm - it's suuper :) :) :) - but I find the other types of bottles more hygienic and convenient .. what do you advise?

Hello! By increasing the amount of wax, decrease the amount of butter accordingly. The recipe does not contain ingredients contraindicated for children; add 3-4 drops of strawberry aromatic extract if necessary.

Hello, I have 2 questions regarding this formula: 1. If I increase the amount of wax to 2-3 gr to be able to use the lip balm container, should the amount of another ingredient be decreased accordingly? 2. Can I use the resulting lip balm on my 3 years and 9 months old daughter? Should I exclude something from the formula in this case?... Thank you in advance!

I got a great lip butter. I didn't put ceramide because I didn't have any, I put 0.5g extra lanolin, but even so it lays a soft and protective layer on the lips that makes them feel very pleasant to the touch. Overnight the lips are really soft and moisturized. Thanks for the recipe.

Of course castor oil has influence on the texture as well as the feel on application, that's why I was saying that we can't recommend substitute oil. To get a similar texture of the preparation, you can increase the wax dosage, but without tests we can't give you an exact percentage.

Other oils are not so viscous. This will also change the resulting texture, right? How could I get the same texture using another vegetable oil? With more wax or butter?
