Hello Larisa. Unfortunately, this type of clay-based masks are difficult to preserve and stabilize, that's why we recommend applying after preparation. We're glad the recipe is useful, may it continue to be of use to you!

Hello, I prepared this mask for a cousin with very bad acne problems and she is very satisfied. It is a great recipe, even if the neem odor is unpleasant. I would like to ask: is it possible to prepare a larger quantity and preserve it with cosgard? I don't know in what parameters Cosgard preserves such powder compositions. Thanks a lot for the information.

Hello. Bearing in mind that acne and the marks left by it are very often discussed on the forum, isn't it possible to create a section where you could gather all the posts that refer to this problem? For me at least, it took me a long time to go through all the recipes you have now to find the ones for acne.

Hello, Raluca! The name you can find it under in Romanian would be argilă bentonită or argilă bentonit. We don't have this product in our range, but beige clay is the closest in shape and composition. In this recipe you can also use another type of clay.

Hello. I have a puzzlement and hope you can help me. There are several types of clay and I can't find out what is BENTONITE CLAY. I use it for tooth powder (according to a recipe in English) but looking for an equivalent in Romanian I am not sure which type of clay corresponds to which? Studind reteta aceasta de masca ma ganam daca poate folosi bentonite clay in ea, in place of white kaolin clay... I am a beginner and eager to learn as much as I can about making cosmetics. Your site amazes and delights me, I never get tired of exploring the recipes and tips given! Congratulations!!!

Good evening. I made this mask and the resulting amount is much more than I need. If I want to prepare a quarter of the amount how much tea tree essential oil should I put?

Hello Cristina. Up to 1% essential oil is generally used for a face cream. A dosage of 2.5% is already considered too much, but since tea tree essential oil is well tolerated by the skin, you can use the cream, possibly as a mask. We do not recommend reheating and adding water+oils.

Hi. I made 100g cream and put 2,5g of tea tree essential oil. Is it too much? If yes can I still reheat the cream and add water+oils?

Hello Dana. Yes, you can prepare a larger amount on the dry side for multiple uses. May it be of use to you!

Good evening, I modified the recipe: clay + rice powder + matca milk powder and when I prepare it I add neem oil +tea tree + cumin + allantoin + vitamin E and imortelle water. After washing my skin is clean and I use it once a week. Can I prepare the dry part in advance, for several uses as in the Mask-rub recipe and add the liquid part only when I need it? Thank you.

Hello Georgiana. You can make the proposed substitution, the two oils are the main active ingredients in this mask.

Hello, thanks for your answer! The scales I have help me weigh 7 grams of clay, but it doesn't seem to be sensitive to a single gram ( as much as I would need for neem oil). I'll definitely buy a better precision scale, but until then the equivalents you've shared with me are very helpful. Thanks once again. Have a good day!

Hello Georgiana, Quantities expressed in grams, weighed with a scale, are always the most accurate and the percentage ratio of ingredients is correct this way. Floral waters have a density of about 1, we can count 1 gram = 1 ml. Vegetable oils have a density of between 0.90-0.95 most of them, and for neem oil we can reckon 0.93 gr = 1 ml. The mask can be applied weekly or twice a week.

Hello, can you tell me how can I transform the amounts expressed in grams (in your recipe) into milliliters? Both the rosemary water and the neem oil are liquid and I would have expected some quantities expressed in milliliters or drops... I should mention that I don't have a precision scale (I thought the one I have was precision, but I was wrong). I would also like to know how often this mask can be applied to the skin. Thank you in advance.

Neem oil plays an important role in this formula; we do not recommend replacing it with raspberry oil.
