Hello, I noticed that the dried lavender flowers added in the top layer turn brown after about a day of preparation and give an unpleasant appearance to the soap. Have you found a solution for this?

Hello, You can try boiling the soap molds, but there's probably little chance that the infused odor will disappear completely.

Hello! The clear base only turns white if it is unhardened and blends with the white base at the time of pouring. You have to wait until that layer hardens before pouring the next layer.

Hello. Bay laurel vegetable oil would be a suitable addition for melt&pour soaps or the preparation of an Aleppo-type CP soap.

Hello. The matte pigment 27 violet is not suitable for soaps as it is unstable in alkaline environments. You can also find this information in the pigment description on the website. It is always a good idea to check for possible incompatibilities to avoid unwanted results. You could have used the pigment indicated in the recipe, or virtually any other pigment that is suitable for soaps according to the directions on the website.

Hi!I made this soap recipe with melt&pour Crystal base and encountered a problem with the color.I added matte cosmetic pigment purple 27 but when I put the fragrance and/or essential oil it changed and turned brown. After drying the soap the brown intensified. What pigments or colorants can I use with this soap base to prevent this from happening and get the beautiful color?

Hello Ramona. You can take inspiration from our recipes and make products based on them, which you can then commercialize. You are under no obligation to us. In order to be legally sold, cosmetic products need physico-chemical and microbiological tests carried out by an authorized laboratory and must be notified on the European Commission's Portal. Most products must also be dermatologically tested. To legally market any kind of products, you need to have an authorization (PFA, AF, II, SRL). Good luck and good luck!

To the best of our knowledge, for soaps made from a soap base as well as other types of soap, the regulations are the same.

Do soaps made with soap base still need a recipe to be approved in order to sell the soaps?
