Preparation instructions:
In a large bowl mix the detergent base and essential oil slowly, thoroughly. In another bowl, mix the ingredients of phase B until the citric acid is dissolved. Add phase B over phase A and mix. Finally add the ethanol. The result will be a colourless, clear, liquid, slightly foamy solution.
Transfer the solution thus prepared into the dedicated container, a spray pump bottle. This bottle can be reused several times
Ethanol can be bought in any supermarket in the spirits section under the name Grain Alcohol / Agricultural Alcohol, 96°.
Instead of lavender essential oil, other essential oils or combinations can be used, according to preference, e.g. rosemary, lemon, mint, pine, lemongrass, lemon eucalyptus, etc. Unscented detergent can also be made by eliminating the essential oil from the recipe completely.
An environmentally friendly solution suitable for sanitising windows and generally smooth washable surfaces. It has a pleasant smell, does not leave streaks, does not require rinsing, dries easily.
