Epsom salt (bitter salt, magnesium sulfate) is a general plant fertilizer. It benefits both indoor and garden plants, very useful in the urban garden or mini balcony garden.
Magnesium is an essential component in the production of chlorophyll and more. Thus, Epsom salt:
- brightens yellowing plant leaves,
- sweetens fruit and even vegetables,
- beautifies, greens lawns,
- reduces transplant shock,
- aids nutrient uptake,
- aids seed germination,
- prevents leaf twisting,
- removes many pests (except snails and slugs)
USE
Fruit trees and trees: 40 gr Epsom salt (2 tbsp) sprinkled on 1 m2 around the tree/tree in the root zone. Apply 3 times a year.
Lawn: 40 g Epsom salt (2 tablespoons) diluted in 5 litres of water for 4-5 m2 of lawn.
Shrubs (especially evergreens, Azaleas, Rhododendrons): 20 g Epsom salt (1 tbsp) sprinkled on 1 m2 around the shrub.
Indoor plants: 35 g Epsom salt (2 levelled tablespoons) diluted in 4 litres of water. Repeat monthly.
Roses: 18 g Epsom salt (1 level tablespoon) per 30 cm rose height, sprinkled around the plant. Repeat every two weeks during the flowering period.
