Eucalyptus Citriodora Oil (Lemon Eucalyptus Oil)

Eucalyptus Citriodora Oil is an aromatic essential oil—typically obtained by steam distillation from the leaves of Eucalyptus citriodora (lemon eucalyptus, often classified as Corymbia citriodora)—known for its fresh, lemony scent and high citronellal content. In cosmetic formulations, it is used mainly as a perfuming ingredient to provide a clean, invigorating sensory profile, while also contributing deodorizing and skin-refreshing support within botanical blends. It is commonly incorporated at low concentrations in body washes, soaps, deodorants, foot care, scalp and hair products, and outdoor-inspired body care. As a naturally complex essential oil containing potential fragrance allergens, it is typically formulated in accordance with applicable IFRA guidance to help minimize irritation or sensitization risk, especially in leave-on products and for sensitive skin.
