Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Leaf Oil (Ceylon Cinnamon Leaf Oil)

Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Leaf Oil is a strongly aromatic essential oil, typically obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Ceylon cinnamon). In cosmetic formulations, it is used primarily as a perfuming ingredient to impart a warm, spicy note, and it is also valued in botanical blends for its purifying, deodorizing and antioxidant-supportive properties. It is most commonly incorporated at very low concentrations in cleansing products, soaps, deodorants, scalp and hair care, and warming body-care concepts where an invigorating sensory effect is desired.
