Hello Simona, Due to the high content of sugar crystals, these soaps might be too abrasive for sensitive skin. We recommend that you test the soaps to see if they are suitable for your skin, or opt for gentler exfoliating recipes.

These soaps are really cute and I can't wait to make them. With the melt & pour white base I had surprises, then I realized that the water bath only works on the flame.I melt in mw,in the right amount for a small bowl.It forms a crust without stirring. It should be worked in not quite small bowl, which doesn't allow rapid cooling,so we can also add exfoliants or pigments, perfumes.Maybe bring some bowls a bit bigger than the existing one, with heat resistant bowls is another problem.

Hi Ramona, As it is listed in the recipe description, heat the ingredients of phase A on the water bath without stirring. This way you avoid forming a crust.

It makes a crust on the surface no matter how much I turn it. I quickly put it in the mold and as I was putting it in, it was getting lumpy. What can I do in this case?

Hello Mihaela, Reheating the mixture causes the sugar to melt and the soaps lose the most important property of the recipe, the exfoliating action of the sugar granules.

Hello, We recommend heating the ingredients of phase A without stirring until the soap cubes are completely melted. Add phase B and C ingredients one at a time, but quickly.

Can I reheat it if I put tenside and sugar? Only the Nectar oil I didn't get to put in.

Hello! This soap doesn't work. It hardens extremely quickly. I didn't even put in the sugar and the perfuming because it was already hard. It hardened when I mixed the tenside.

Hello Mihaela, Soaps prepared from melt & pour soap bases need 1 day drying time in the molds in which they were poured. After removing them from the molds they can be used immediately. Those that are not used immediately should be wrapped in cling film or stored in an airtight container to avoid the dew effect, i.e. the appearance of a gel-like layer on the surface of the soaps.

Hello! It can be used immediately after I make it. It doesn't have to be left to dry for a certain period of time, right?! And how long does it take to dry in the mold? Immediately?Thank you.

Hello Ana, Honey and lanolin soap is a mild soap, and is even suitable for washing your face. I recommend in this case removing pollen and turmeric from the recipe. Another suggestion, even gentler on the skin, would be recipes for cleansers and cleansing balms that are formulated without caustic soda, remove makeup, gently cleanse the skin without drying it out.

Hello, You can replace Buriti oil with another oil according to your preference. Consider, changing the color depending on the oil you choose, as the vivid, yellow-orange color is due to the special oil from the Amazonian area. Good luck!
