Hello. Does shea butter melt on a water bath until completely liquefied? This is the first body butter I'm trying to make and I wouldn't want to get anything wrong? I've only made a few hygiene products from your recipes so far and I'm very excited about them! I am very glad to have discovered you!

Hello. We are glad you are happy with the prepared body butter, enjoy using it! It should be kept in the freezer until it hardens, about 7-12 minutes.

Hello! I made this body butter and it came out great . It absorbs well, airy and the color is lovely. Instead of Lotus Foret fragrance I put bergamot and I don't like the smell. Now after 3 days can I add another essential oil or perfuming to have a slightly sweet smell? Thank you in advance for your reply and wishing you a fairytale weekend!

an extraordinary body butter, with an interesting pistachio green color and a fresh, spring scent. A real treat for the skin. I am very happy with it

CARMEN, Hello, Instead of shea butter you can use mango butter but due to the difference in hardness of the two butters, we suggest using more butter and less oil. An optimal ratio would be: 70 ml (65 gr) mango butter and 25 ml (23 gr) hemp oil.

Good evening, thanks for the recipes. Instead of shea butter (I don't have any more), can I use mango butter? In what quantity? Thank you very much!

Cristiana, Hello, Vitamin A benefits the skin and is also included in body care compositions. You can add it to your body cream or butter at the final stage.

Hello, Vitamin A would not be useful in body butter? (Even though the oils are nutritious anyway.) I looked at all the recipes for body butter and nowhere did I find vitamin A among the ingredients. Would it add anything to the value of the cream or is there no point in putting in? Thanks.

gattarossa- buc, Hello, Yes, you can prepare a body butter from the ingredients of your choice. We estimate the following percentages: cocoa butter 30%, coconut oil 30%, tuberose wax 5-8% and the rest rice oil. Since coconut oil has a melting point at room temperature, the body butter made with this ingredient will be softer or more compact depending on the environment in which it is stored.

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to prepare a usable body butter from cocoa butter + coconut oil + rice oil + tuberose wax? What should be the amounts used to get something usable? Or what should be removed/added? Thank you in advance!

claudia r, A higher amount of vitamin E, 3-4% has no negative effects on the skin, you can use body butter. Usually in a glass jar the composition hardens faster. You can also place the jar in the freezer without problems.

Please tell me, if I mistakenly put instead of 15 pic vitamin E 15 more milliliters-3-4 milliliters-3-4 milliliters more can I use this body butter? I point out that it has been in the refrigerator for about 30 min and has not hardened. Thank you very much and appreciate what you do

Hello, Elemental! I made this recipe adapting it as follows (respecting the dosage): unrefined shea butter, the amount of oil I divided it equally in argan oil, rosehip and macadamia, vitamin E. I perfumed everything with essential oils of bergamot, vanilla, rose and sweet orange. it was a smooth butter, with a delicate flavor, not very greasy, goes quickly into the skin, only good for after the beach :) so delighted I was, that I made it as a gift :) congratulations for all you do! with your help today I decide what I put on my skin :)...and the satisfaction of the success of a homemade recipe can not be told:)

patratel, Thanks for the feedback. Indeed the composition is oily, just like any body butter or cream that does not contain water, but applied in a moderate amount it absorbs well into freshly sanitized skin. Please note, coconut oil can be replaced with another oil, but not aloe vera gel or any water-soluble ingredient!
