Triheptanoin (Triheptanoin)

A lightweight emollient ester derived from glycerin and heptanoic acid, used in cosmetic formulations to create a silky, smooth-spreading and comfortable texture. Due to its light lipid character, it improves product spreadability on the skin, reduces the heavy or greasy feel of oil-rich formulas and leaves a soft, refined and pleasant finish.
