I would like to replace coconut tenside with SLSA or another solid tenside because after the first use coconut tenside solidifies and changes color and becomes hard to use. Could I do this replacement?

Hi Ramona, Although our new coffee butter has a less solid consistency, the result should be semi-solid, solid. Next time, we recommend placing the coffee butter, after weighing the amount needed, in the refrigerator for a few minutes until it solidifies. Good luck!

Hello! I prepared the gum and it came out almost liquid. If I put it in the refrigerator is it OK?

Hello Andreea, You can carry out the proposed substitution. For similar exfoliating effects, we recommend sugar with a slightly higher granulation. Have a sunny day!

Hello Miliana, Due to the different textures and effects of the two butters, propudate substitution in this recipe is not possible. Have a sunny day!

Hello, I share my experience, maybe it helps other people. It is a wonderful body butter! I replaced the coffee butter with shea butter (I'm not interested in the anti-cellulite effect but only in removing dead cells) and it turned out great (I put the same amounts as in the recipe, without changing anything else). The formula with shea butter has a soft and fluffy texture (I blended with a mixer) and leaves the skin velvety and moisturized. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Hello! Tenside SCS doesn't dissolve as easily as coconut, it also has a more alkaline pH, but try possibly preparing a small test amount. Thanks for the appreciation! Good luck!

Hello! Can you add a little glycerin for extra moisturizing?I want a 2 in 1 product, scrub and bath butter, so maybe no extra moisturizing is needed.

Hello! The composition is stable without the essential oil. As a rule, in formulas containing more oxidative vegetable oils or citrus essential oils, an antioxidant is required. In this formula it is not required due to the sufficiently high tocopherol content in the coffee butter.

Hello, I made this recipe, it came out great and thank you. I forgot to add the essential oil, is it ok in terms of product stability? Can you please tell me why it is not necessary vit. E for this product? Thank you.

Hello ! Please know that I made the recipe according to your answer, and I'm very pleased. Lasa pielea matasoasaasa skin ,miros very pleasant, se rinse usor de pe piele (non am folosit mult buttery la lavalat - 1 lingurita , deoarece buttertul de cafea este foarte concentrat, iar tensida de cocos lavala suficient in cazul meu). After drying, the skin does not need another body cream, which makes me happy, because I have dry skin, and for me moisturizing after bath/shower is a must. I intend to use the bath butter 1/2 times/week, the rest of the time using a shower gel formula also from you. Have a nice day and thank you for your reply !

Hello! Epsom salt can be removed, as can essential oils. Vitamin E is not necessary. Just prepare a small test amount first. Good luck!
