Hair conditioner base natural is a ready-to-use emulsion used for the rapid preparation of customized hair conditioners and masks. The formula is crafted with plant-derived conditioning agents and enriched with organic butters and oils. It acts by neutralizing electrostatic charges on the surface of the hair shaft, smoothing the cuticle, and facilitating detangling.
The base exhibits stability and allows for the additional incorporation of a wide range of active ingredients or essential oils to formulate a personalized hair mask or conditioner.

Formulation and Customization Guide
Incorporating additional ingredients into the Conditioner Base must be carried out while respecting stability limits:
- Procedure: The base does not require heating. Additional ingredients should be added at room temperature. Introduce ingredients gradually under slow, continuous stirring until the mixture is completely homogenized. There is no need to add extra preservatives after customizing the base.
- Addition limits: Generally, a total of 1-5% of additional ingredients can be added to the conditioner base, in some cases up to 10%; the optimal percentage depends on the type and solubility of the ingredients. Adding more than 2-3% oils or lipid active ingredients is not recommended.
- Synergies: Hair masks, creams, and conditioners can be prepared and enriched with specific active ingredients such as panthenol, silk protein, rice protein keratin, vege-collagen, vege-keratin, hairbond, hair-protect, maca fortis extract, essential oils of rosemary, sage, ylang-ylang, and others.

Is it still necessary to add a preservative if I introduce new ingredients into the base?
The original preservative system of the base is robust enough to protect the final product with an addition of up to 10% supplementary ingredients.
Why did it thin out after I added ingredients?
Liquefaction or a drop in the viscosity of the base occurs for two reasons: either the maximum lipid loading capacity was exceeded (too many oils were added), or active ingredients with high ionic strength (electrolytes or concentrated salts) were introduced. Certain additives can disrupt the micellar arrangement within the emulsion. The solution is to limit additives to cumulative percentages under 5% and test compatibility on small test batches.

Safety Profile: Stable cosmetic product, non-irritating under normal hair application conditions, and compatible with frequent use.

how can i make a leave -in conditioner for curly hair out of the conditioner base
I had the opportunity to use the natural hair conditioner base from Elemental and was extremely pleased with the results. The fact that it's a fragrance-free base allowed me to customize it to my preferences, adding essential oils and active ingredients suited to my hair type. Its creamy, lightweight texture goes on easily and after use, my hair became noticeably softer, moisturized and manageable. What can I add in the conditioner base, besides Honeyquat, buttermilk powder and silk protein, to easily change the fact that the base penetrates too quickly into the hair and I don't have time to stretch it well, as it already gets into the hair. Is it possible to add a vegetable oil or other active to give an easier texture?
I purchased it in the shampoo and conditioner base pack. I converted them from plain to customized products with ingredients from the Ellemental recipe.

For my hair that really needs Conditioner after washing, it's very good. I have been using this base for a long time and I will continue to order it.
In principle quite good and effective, but although it was enriched with 9% active and used the conditioner in abundance it couldn't neutralize or cover the rather aggressive effect of the shampoo (made of shampoo base + 7% active) on my relatively dry hair. For oily scalp the final result was much better!
