CI 77007 (Ultramarines)

CI 77007 is the Colour Index designation for ultramarines, a group of inorganic mineral pigments used in cosmetic formulations to provide vibrant blue tones and to adjust hue in blended color systems. Valued for their strong tinting strength, good opacity, and excellent stability to light and heat, ultramarines are commonly employed to create blue shades in decorative cosmetics or to fine-tune undertones (for example, neutralizing excessive yellow warmth) in complexion products. As insoluble pigments, they contribute to consistent color payoff and an even-looking finish when properly dispersed in powders, waxes, and oil phases. CI 77007 is widely used in eyeshadows, eyeliners, mascaras, face powders, blushes, lip products, and nail color, typically at low to moderate levels depending on the target shade and desired intensity.
