Hi Mihaela, Each ingredient and/or synergy of ingredients has a specific role in achieving the desired effect. In theory, all the suggested substitutions can be made, and instead of using lemon essential oil to help with brittle and soft nails, you can use another essential oil or natural fragrance to scent the serum.

Hello! Vegetable keratin is a water-soluble ingredient, it cannot be incorporated into an oily composition. All the best!

Hello. You can add almond oil, replacing some of the castor or borago oil, as preferred. Propolis cannot be added to this formula.

Lime essential oil is an important ingredient in this formula; you can use another nail-strengthening essential oil instead.

Hello. I want to replace the recommended oil with marigold oil, to put vitamin E. The question is if I can put green tea essential oil instead of green lemon. Thank you very much! I'm really looking forward to prepare the recipe.

Luiza, You can use lemon (Citrus limonum) essential oil instead of lime (Citrus aurantifolia) oil. Borage oil is a moderately oxidative oil, so an antioxidant is needed. If you want to remove both vitamin E and rosemary extract from the formula, then you will need to replace the borage oil with another oxidation-resistant vegetable oil.
