A multi-functional versatile ingredient valuable as aesthetic modifier, moisture and sebum absorber or active carrier. Exhibits an extraordinary soft-touch, it is suitable for a variety of personal care applications including creams, powders, deodorants, anhydrous preparations and makeup products.

• well suited for foundations, loose powders, pressed powders, blushes, eyeshadows, finishing powders, scented powders, deodorant powders, bath bombs, dry shampoo
• can be used as a talcum replacement in face and body powders, maintaining or enhancing the sensory perception in the final formulation

FORMULATION GUIDE

• can be added prior to or post emulsification to achieve different effects
• add in water phase prior to emulsification for thickening and stabilising effect
• add to the final phase of emulsions, at <40°C to provide a silky skin feel, soft-touch and mattifying effect
• in powder mixtures incorporate the cornstarch as it is, mixing well with the other powders
• recommended use levels: 1-15% in emulsions, creams, balms, up to 80% in powders and dry blends
