USE RECOMMENDATIONS

• ideal for applications such as clear gels, hydroalcholic gels, creams, lotions
• used in facial care, eye area care, after shave, body care, conditioners, cleansers, hand sanitizer, styling products, sun care formulations

FORMULATION GUIDELINES

• must be neutralized in order to achieve maximum viscosity
• optimum viscosity is typically achieved at a pH of 6.5-7.5
• neutralize with a common base such as:
  Sodium hydroxide NaOH 18% ratio 2.3/1.0 base/carbomer,
  Triethanolamine 99% ratio 1.5/1.0 base/carbomer,
  Tromethamine 40% ratio 3.3/1.0 base/carbomer,
  L-Arginine ratio 4.5/1.0 base/carbomer
